2020: THE YEAR OF BANANA BREAD. Unofficial … or was it Official? … Food of the Pandemic. Rivaled only perhaps by our sourdough starters. Who knew there would be so much banana bread in this year? I think that I might have ten new recipes this year alone. And I couldn’t help but make one more loaf just to shut this year down. May there be lots of other recipe in our futures and thanks for being there this year. Tomorrow will be just another new day and we can make and bake and share something new and different.

Long time followers of my website know that the other thing that I have a tendency to make around Christmas Time (in addition to the mountains of cookies) is candy, chocolates or fudge. Sometimes Caramels, sometimes Fudge, sometimes Truffles. So this year, I went with another couple of types of fudge: Coffee Toffee Crunch Fudge and Cookies+Cream Fudge. It’s a super-simply, absolutely foolproof fudge recipe that turns out great every time. And ready in a very short time frame. Try it!
Bailey’s Irish Cream Toffee Bit Brownies! Just think how amazing these would be in a brownie sundae with a big scoop of vanilla (or coffee!) ice cream. I put a whole bag of both a Bailey’s Chips and Heath Bar Toffee Bits in the recipe, so they turned out almost fudge like. Extremely decadent. Incredibly irresistible!
