Kat’s Version of Jean’s Spiced Apple Pie Martini

2 parts Absolute OrientApple vodka
2 parts Smirnoff Cinnamon vodka
1 part SNAP Gingersnap Liqueur
a thin apple slice, to garnish
whole star anise, to garnish

Start by chilling your gingersnap liqueur. I kept mine in the freezer for a few hours, so it was almost a syrup. Slice your apple.

In a cocktail shaker combine ice and both vodkas. Shake vigorously. In a chilled martini glass, pour in shot of the chilled gingersnap liqueur, then strain over the combined vodkas on top (without the ice, of course). Garnish with the apple slice and the star anise. Serve immediately.
