Maple Walnut Fudge

Ingredients
1 can condensed milk
1 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup of butter
1 cup of maple syrup
pinch of salt
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup walnuts, toasted and chopped

Directions
Prepare a 13×9 inch baking pan with a foil sling. Spray lightly with baking spray.

Combine condensed milk, brown sugar, butter, maple syrup and salt in a medium sauce pan. Stir continuously while bringing mixture to a boil. Once simmering, lower the heat and continue to stir slowly while the mixture cooks. After about 7 minutes, test by pouring a small amount into some cold water. You want it to form a soft ball. You might need to cook it for another minute or two.

Remove from the heat, add a vanilla and stir for about 5-6 minutes. Add walnuts and stir for another minute or two. Pour into your prepared baking pan. Refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight. Cut into 1 1/2 inch squares.
